The Institute of Customer Service of Nigeria
The Institute of Customer Service of Nigeria is the independent, professional membership body for customer service operators.
Our main purpose is to lead customer service performance and professionalism. We are a membership body with a community of members – private, public and third sectors. The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, Act 2014 (Act No.2) published on the Federal Republic of Nigeria Official Gazette No.62, Vol. 101 (Government Notice No.72) Lagos- 20th May, 2014, signed into law on the 19th Day of May, 2014, formally established the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, as a body corporate with perpetual succession and common seal.The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria was inaugurated in August 1980 as Nigeria Society of Safety Professionals (NSSP) during the annual conference of the National Industrial Safety Council of the Nigeria (NISCN)
The Centre for Management Development (CMD)
The Centre for Management Development (CMD) is a resource institution established in 1973 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as the operational arm of the Nigerian Council for Management Development (NCMD), which has over-all responsibility for the stimulation, promotion and training in the public and private enterprises of the Nigerian economy. Though established in 1973, it was Decree 51 of October 4, 1976 that gave both the Council and the Centre their legal status. TeIn 2004, the Centre’s mandate was enlarged when the Federal Executive Council in-line with the Federal Government’s reform policy approved the merger of CMD and the National Centre for Economic Management and Administration (NCEMA), Ibadan. Through the merger, CMD assumed the additional responsibility to strengthen the skills of public officers involved in economic planning, budgeting, project design, implementation and monitoring as well as economic policy formulation and implementation.
